(d) To carry passengers, Mail, Treasure, live-stock, rice, meat, corn, coal, produce, goods, merchandise property, chattels and effects or any kind of cargo whatsoever between such ports or places wheresoever situate as the Company shall from time to time think fit and determine on.
(e) To purchase, hire or otherwise acquire, build, charter, equip, load on commission, sell, repair, let out to hire or trade with steam or other ships, vessels, launches, tug boats, lighters, barges, and boats of all kinds.
(f) To purchase treasure, live stock, rice, meat, corn, coal, produce, goods, merchandise, chattels and effects or any kind or cargo whatsoever for the purpose of freighting any ship, vessel or steamlaunch belonging to the Company, or in which the Company is for the time being interested, or for the purpose of dealing in, trading with, or selling or disposing of the same.
(g) To purchase, hire or otherwise acquire and undertake all or any part of the business, property and liabilities of any Company carrying on any business which this Company is authorised to carry on or possessed of property suitable for the purpose of this Company.
(h) To purchase, take on lease or in exchange, hire or otherwise acquire, hold or occupy any real or personal property and any rights or privileges which this Company may think necessary or convenient for the purpose of its business and in particular any lands, buildings, piers, wharves, godowns, fixtures, easements, machinery, plant and stock in trade, chattels or effects.
(i) To sell the undertaking of the Company or any part thereof or any interest therein for such consideration as the Company may think fit, and in particular for shares, debentures or securities of any other Company having objects altogether or in part similar to those of this Company.
